Terms and Conditions – Peak Flame
By engaging Peak Flame, LLC for gas fireplace services, the customer agrees to the following terms and conditions governing the delivery, scope, and limitations of service.
Peak Flame provides gas fireplace inspection, maintenance, and minor repair services to residential clients in Northern Virginia. Our services are designed to enhance the safety, efficiency, and functionality of existing gas fireplace systems. While we strive for thorough, high-quality work, our services are limited to maintenance and non-structural repairs. We do not currently offer new installations or major structural modifications unless specified in writing.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that our technicians have safe and unobstructed access to the fireplace system at the time of the scheduled appointment. A legal parking spot must be required for the technician to park the service vehicle. Any delays or inability to access the unit due to locked areas, blocked equipment, pets, or unsafe conditions may result in rescheduling and may incur an additional service fee.
During the course of service, Peak Flame will assess the condition of the unit and report any issues or concerns that may compromise performance or safety. While we take every precaution to work carefully and accurately, Peak Flame is not liable for damage or hazards that existed prior to service or that result from the customer’s failure to maintain or repair the unit. Any recommendations we make are for the continued safety and reliability of the system and are provided in good faith.
All parts supplied and installed by Peak Flame are covered by a limited 90-day warranty. Labor is warrantied for a period of 30 days. These warranties do not apply to misuse, accidental damage, tampering by non-authorized persons, or issues unrelated to the original service. Warranty claims are handled on a case-by-case basis and must be reported within the applicable time frame.
Payment for services is due upon completion unless other arrangements have been agreed upon in advance. Accepted forms of payment include credit or debit card, cash, and approved digital payment methods. Unpaid balances beyond seven days may be subject to late fees or suspended service. Returned payments may incur additional charges to cover processing costs.
Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice. Missed appointments or cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to a no-show fee $50. Peak Flame reserves the right to reschedule appointments in the event of weather, emergencies, or technician availability.
Customers are expected to be transparent regarding the condition of their fireplace systems. Any known performance issues, prior damage, or modifications should be disclosed at the time of booking to ensure a safe and efficient service experience. Failure to disclose important information may result in voided warranties or limited liability.
If you have a multi-sided fireplace, there is an additional fee of $25 per pane of glass.
